Similan or Surin? Best Snorkeling Spots for Nature Lovers

Thailand’s Andaman Sea is world-famous for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs. But when it comes to snorkeling, many travelers ask the same question: Similan or Surin — which island is better for nature lovers?

If you’re planning a Thailand snorkeling tour and want to explore responsibly, this guide compares the two iconic islands to help you choose the perfect trip.

🐠 Similan Islands: Famous for Crystal Waters and Giant Rocks

The Similan Islands snorkeling day trip is one of Thailand’s most popular marine adventures — and for good reason:

✔ Occasional sightings of sea turtles or reef sharks

Best for:

  • Clear water enthusiasts
